As many of you know, Collin and Payton live, eat, sleep, and breathe all things Lego. It is wonderful that they enjoy a similar interest and they spend HOURS in the basement building countless fabulous creations.
For almost a year now, they have been saving ALL of their money. Allowance, Birthday money, gift cards, Easter Bunny Coins, etc....every penny has gone into their savings for the Lego Star Wars Death Star. When we returned from Montana, we counted their loot as we knew that they were getting pretty close, and we found that they only needed $14 more. we had made them the deal that if they saved $350, we would provide the final $50. Last weekend we went into in the Lego Store to order it (it is free shipping if you order in the store). It arrived today and we will get to building it this weekend after the last of their allowance goes into the pot.
Karl thinks that it is going to take weeks to build. There are 3803 pieces. I think that it will take a few days at most. They will sit at the table until it is done I am sure. Needless to say, this one won't be coming apart either. :)

That is so Awesome....what will you do with all that time on your hands while they are madly building? ;-)...on a side note....i don't understand why legos have to be so expensive...it kills me!
