One of the things that we have thoroughly enjoyed here in the DC area is the B&O Railroad Museum up in Baltimore. Of course we became members when we moved here, and our membership extends only through the end of this month. So we decided to make one final trip up there before our time runs out and we move back West (and closer to the equally fabulous California State Railroad Museum).

BEFORE you move to the other side of the country, we need to get together....AND, you NEED to go to the Strasburg railroad in Pa. It is AWESOME! You can ride an old fashioned train, visit the railroad museum, and you MUST go to the Choo Choo Barn across the street. It's a miniature train museum x100! HUGE! I remember as a kid, the lights would go off, and you could see all the villages "at night."
