We are in the countdown now, until we leave Alabama, and there are still a few things that we want to do before we depart the DEEP South. One of which was to go back to Atlanta and visit The World of Coke and stop at Callaway Gardens (on the way back) to see the butterflies and the flowers. We made an overnight of it, and stayed in downtown Atlanta. Let's just say that it wasn't the most stress-free of trips, but we managed to survive and have some fun.
Collin and Payton at World of Coke. This is like a Coke museum, with lots of Coke memorabilia and a huge tasting room and gift shop (of course).
They have all the different types of Coke products from around the World and you can taste anything and as much as you would like. Collin was the biggest fan of plain old American Coca-Cola Classic.
After our overnight stay (and round and round in really poorly designed downtown Atlanta) we headed out in the morning to Callaway Gardens. A huge park-like place with all sorts of trails, gardens, water, and outdoor activities.

That sounds like a fun trip. Those were great pictures too. I hope that you guys have fun in DC. I hope that eventually we will end up there. I have never seen all the historic stuff there
Beautiful pics at the Garden! I am sooo excited about you leaving the DEEP south and heading my way (to the kinda south)!
How fun! We're heading to ATL in a couple weeks but so far the only thing on our agenda is the GA Aquarium. Hopefully we can add the World of Coke and the Callaway Gardens, too. Thanks for the tips. :)
Funny, we were supposed to go to Atlanta this weekend, too, but got stuck with the baseball marathon and a trip to see good ol' Ronald McDonald. You'll have to share your tips before I go...
So pretty the pic of you and the boys in front of the azaleas...
I am glad you were able to get away from Montogmery for a while... and soon forever! :)
