Cascade, Crabs, and Creeks

It has been a busy week here at the KrazyHouse. My dear friend from high school came into town from Alaska for a conference and spent a few days with us here before she had to go to work. :) We had a wonderful time reminiscing about the "good old days" at Cascade High School, visiting some of the sights in the area, and eating CRABS!!! Seeing old friends is a lot of fun, and we had a wonderful time with her here.

Of course we took her into the city to see the major sights.....Payton has decided that he would like to live in the "big house with all the grass."

She was KIND enough to drag a box full of DELICIOUS Alaskan King Crab with her as it is SO MUCH CHEAPER up there than here. I can't tell you how good it was, you will just have to believe me. :)

The next day, to continue the crabby week, we travelled over to Annapolis to show Tanya how we eat crab here on the East Coast. Blue Crab all the way......YUMMMMMMMMYYYYY!!!! BTW, Collin takes after his mother and LOVES crabs. Payton, more like Daddy, opted for the Mac and Cheese. :)

And then we rounded out the week with a flash flood. This is the creek in the back yard. I don't think it has any crabs in it. :)
