We all went to the Ringling Brothers Circus this weekend and it was QUITE a show. The boys LOVED it!!! It was loud, and bright, and silly, and had lots going on all the time. We had great seats and truly enjoyed The Greatest Show on Earth!!!
The elephants were awesome. Despite the PETA people outside the doors, they didn't look, or act, abused in any way. Karl and I both made the comment that one probably couldn't make an animal behave so well through abuse....but what do we know??? They certainly were well trained.
Before the show they allowed you to get down into the ring and see some of the circus acts right up close. Some of them you could even try out. This is Payton giving Tight Rope Walking a try.
And of course, no circus is complete without the mandatory $12 bag of cotton candy. At least it came with these snazzy hats!

The circus is so much better when you're a kid....I guess it's pretty fun as an adult if you go WITH kids too. I love that they got to try out some of the acts.
