Korail Railroad Museum

We went to the Korail Railroad Museum today. It was a place that C went at Winter Camp, and we didn't really know where it was, but after some poking around on the internet, we were able to at least figure out where to get off the subway. :) From there we found a taxi driver that knew where we wanted to go.....and Wa La!!!!

Notice how VERY American we look with our MSU sweatshirt, Quicksilver, Vans, Columbia, and Nike Gear. No, we don't stand out at ALL!

I wouldn't put it in quite the same category as the WONDERFUL California State Railroad Museum that we had in Sacramento, but it was better than I expected for Korea. It was a drizzly day, perfect for Korean sightseeing as the hoards of people were at home for once. :)

The boys had a wonderful time and managed to see every train in record time. Most we could get in, some we could not....typical.

One of the funnier things that we saw was a model of early Korea with a grass hut and a steam engine clearly marked Pennsylvania Railroad.....again, Land of the Not Quite Right.

It was a nice, quick trip and a visit to something that the boys love, in ANY country or language. Most of the trains were obviously American built. It's nice to see that not everything is made in China! :)
