Random Thoughts and Updates

Sorry for the slow updates from Alabama this week. It is just what happens when nothing is going on, and everything is going on, at the same time. :)

Karl started school this past week. He LOVES it! OK, so love is probably a pretty strong word. More like he is tolerating it with about as much finesse as Tyndall tolerates being held and loved. :) It will be a busy year, and busy in a way that we are not used to. Both of us have been out of school for a few years and I am not sure I remember what writing papers and reading endless pages of text are like. It will be wonderful to have him home every night for the next 10 months, but I don't know yet how much of him we will actually see. He hasn't started his actual classes as of yet and is still doing all the mass briefing/intro stuff.

Collin starts 2nd grade tomorrow. Stay tuned for pictures of that....We had a Meet-the-Teacher night one night this past week, and the school and teacher are very nice. Crossing fingers for a great year! Payton doesn't start at his new preschool until September 2nd.

My car goes in tomorrow to have the bumper fixed. The good news is that the scratch that I added in Korea will be fixed as part of the claimed bumper repair because the entire bumper has to be replaced. :) The computer is still dorked up in it too. It goes in all day this Friday to have that fixed. We even get a loaner BMW....that will be nice. :)

Tomorrow is also a KrazyFam national holiday. Karl's birthday!!! We will have a little celebration here when he gets home in the evening. Stay tuned for pictures of that too.

The GREAT news is that our stuff FINALLY arrived yesterday. So far, we have a handful of damaged things that we will have to claim, but most everything looks good. It is great to have things back and we will be busy today getting things unpacked and arranged.

The boys, filling the water bowl with the sprinkler. They were pretty creative with this. Payton sat on his truck and funnelled the water down into the bowl where Collin ran it back and forth filling his truck.

And Collin took this shot of your blog author! He complains every time I am working on the blog. so he decided to take a picture of it as if to say "she is on the computer ALL the time people!!!"
